One of the more difficult things about doing these assignments is finding time for them; but when you do, they come out great.

Fashion:

It’s been a while since I last posted, but I’ll catch up! Life’s just been a little busy with work and all. Here’s another fashion shoot. Thanks, Heather, for being my model. =) I’ll try to upload more when I find time.

Karen’s Ice Skating Performance

Karen’s performance at The Rink in Anaheim.

Individuality:

I posted this portrait in its own assignment because of how the intention of the portrait was different from the previous photographs. In this specific image, I attempted to illustrate Catherine’s personality through a simple gesture.

Figure:

Karen was nice enough to bring a change in outfit, and so I decided to do a full-body profile photograph emphasizing the human form.

Full-Body Glamour:

Since Thanksgiving weekend is coming up, I thought I’d post an assignment up earlier. Thanks again, Karen, for being my model. I’ll be sure to have more food lying around for you the next time we do this. =P

Commencement Portrait:

I reshot graduation portraits for Karen after accidentally deleting them from my iPhoto library. The good thing about the retake was that we were able to come up with ideas for some creative portraits.

Note to self: Back up right after I upload.

I asked Catherine and Long to come over so I could practice shooting more portraits. Here they are. =)

I should invest in a different color backdrop…

Glamour:

My old housemate, Karen, came over to do her graduation portraits, and I ended up making her do some glamour poses afterward. This photo was just one of our happy accidents. =) Thanks Karen for being my practice model!
